Use clauses and linkers of contrast : although, however, in spite of/despite + gerund.(-ing).

Animals

To 3rd secondary. You have to click on the title.

Then choose a habitat.

You can register or choose MAYBE LATER (on your right)

Drag the animals into the scene , when you finish you get a card. If you click on it , you get complete information about that animal. You have to print it , make a small poster and bring it to class to explain it to your mates.

To avoid repetitions, make a comment giving your name -habitat and animal.

3rd secondary and 1st Polimodal...a new and funny way to practice verbs.

Click on the title as usual. Let me tell you about my experience. When I tried to write the sentences changing the tense, it was always wrong...My fault: I forgot the full stop !!!! (the point).

The Cell

To 2nd secondary EAS. You can study Biology and learn English !!!

That is killing two birds with one shot .

You can name the parts on three different cells and then check it. It's a DRAG and DROP game, you choose one name on your right and then drag it to the right place on the picture.

We saw this great video in class. We started thinking about the power of our words. Why don't we give a compliment instead of waiting for one??

In several situations we are aware of the possitive qualities of people around us, but we don't usually say it.

Making compliments is going to be our aim !!!

Dictation

• second, each phrase is read slowly twice, with punctuation, as you write;

Thomas visits Del Valle

Thomas Stacey (sent by British Council and Dirección de Capacitación de la Provincia de BA)visited our classrooms. He was at Escuela de Educación Media Nº3 and at EAS (Escuela Agrotécnica Salesiana) in Del Valle. All of us enjoyed listening to a native speaker of English. He made us feel comfortable. My students could use "their" English to communicate with him !!!. One of them even showed him how a flogger dances and some of them showed him the school around. He was always very polite, encouraging students to speak, making his best to understand and he kept a charming smile all the time. Tom used plain English and exchanged funny expressions . He taught : "y'alright " and learnt : " juega un montón"...

Rhymes

Del Valle Film Festival

Welcome to our Del Valle film festival.

Most of you have worked with songs in class. We´ve done listening comprehension exercises and we've recycled expressions from many songs.

The most successful activity? Picture our song !!! Our classrooms look great with all that art you've got. You made pictures to each line of a song, so the wall "sings".

You're great artists and you can manage many computer tools like Power Point oor Movie Maker .
